Micheline Hughes, Controller

She received her BS in Business Administration/Accounting from Cal State University, Northridge, then went on to work at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Los Angeles, earning her CPA designation. From there she worked as an Accounting Manager or Controller at various companies in various industries some of which include: American Medical International, Media Home Entertainment, The Burbank Studios (Warner Bros), Wood Knapp Video, Surgidev, The Balance Bar Company, All Goode Organics and Turn Key Marketing. Micheline oversees all accounting functions at the company.
Erica Vue, Assistant Controller – Commercial/Corporate
evue@pacificahotels.comErica joined Pacifica in 2009 as Senior Accountant and was promoted in 2010 to Assistant Controller. She is responsible for supervising the Commercial and Corporate accounting processes and is in charge of calculating the quarterly investors/partners distributions. After earning her BS in Business Admin-Accountancy at California State University Fresno in 2004, Erica moved back to San Diego, and worked in the Real Estate Accounting Industry. Erica has over 7 years of real estate and corporate multi-entity accounting experience. Prior to coming to Pacifica, she was a Senior Accountant at The Corky McMillin Companies in San Diego, Ca, where she prepared audited GAAP Financial and Consolidated statements for two large portfolios of home building entities.
Chris Furumoto, Corporate Accounting Manager – Hospitality
cfurumoto@pacificahotels.comChris joined Pacifica in September 2011. He is responsible for supervising the Hotel and Restaurant accounting processes and financial reporting for Pacifica. He has Bachelor’s Business Administration from the University of Iowa with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to coming to Pacifica, he was Controller at Palomar San Diego, Rancho Valencia Resort, Lake Arrowhead Resort, Pala Mesa Resort, Hotel Jerome, Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, Manor Vail Resort and Warwick Hotel Denver. He also was Assistant Controller at Paradise Point Resort and The Broadmoor Hotel. Chris passed the CPA exam in 1991.
